License

USD $49 one-time license, perpetual use, and clear reuse boundaries

The offer

The Buildgrain SaaS Web Kit is USD $49 as a one-time payment. A completed purchase grants the named purchaser a perpetual license to the purchased version. There is no subscription, renewal fee, per-seat charge, or per-developer charge. The controlling text is the proprietary Buildgrain Commercial License Agreement 1.0 in LICENSE.md (LicenseRef-Buildgrain-Commercial-1.0).

Individual, team, and agency use

One purchasing individual or legal entity may let any number of its genuine employees, contractors, team members, and coding agents use the source on its behalf. The same license may be reused for any number of the purchaser’s own products and client products after Meaningful Modification. Changing only names, logos, colors, copy, configuration, or dependencies is not Meaningful Modification.

Resale and attribution

The original or a substantially unmodified kit may not be resold, sublicensed, published, or redistributed. A materially transformed derivative may be sold or redistributed, including for a client, when it is not the original kit with its functionality substantially unchanged. Every permitted source distribution must retain LICENSE.md and NOTICE.md and state: “Includes portions of Buildgrain SaaS Web Kit — https://buildgrain.com”.

Delivery, updates, and refunds

Delivery is designed as read-only access to a dedicated GitHub distribution repository plus a versioned Polar source archive with a SHA-256 digest. Lifetime updates means access, without another license fee, to updates Buildgrain actually releases for this same product SKU; it is not a release-frequency or custom-support SLA. After digital supply begins, simple change-of-mind refunds are not offered, while non-waivable rights for non-delivery, material defect, misleading description, non-conformity, and payment error remain intact.

Current release and activation boundary

Analytics, Monitoring, and the AI chatbot are future updates and are not included in the current release. The public sample still has No checkout and No charge path. Live checkout remains disabled until the seller’s legal identity, final commerce/legal wording, exact release inventory and checksum, Polar/GitHub bindings, and a separate external-action approval are complete.
